About Women and Families in Peacebuilding Initiatives: At the Global Peace Foundation, we believe lasting peace begins with families - with women at the heart of every home and community.
By last year, Global Peace Foundation has developed Women and Families in Peacebuilding initiatives with Global Peace Women, including the Global Peace Women Leadership Academy, Sunshine Family Volunteers, and a host of trainings related to family strengthening and women with local chapter programs. We have carried out more than 627 grassroots activities, reaching over 23,000 people directly and more than 220,000 indirectly across the world.
This work has been made possible through the dedication of 988 volunteers, collaboration with 269 partners, and generous contributions.
Every gift made through this campaign will strengthen this growing network of women leaders, families, and community builders - supporting mentorship, training, and locally led peace projects that nurture leadership from the home to the world.
